Cost shouldn’t stand between you and better hearing. We’ll help you understand your options and make it work.
Hearing aids are a meaningful investment — and we understand that cost is one of the biggest barriers to getting help. That’s why we take the time to explore every funding option available to you before you spend a dollar out of pocket.
From private insurance benefits and government assistance programs to flexible monthly payment plans, there are often more options available than people expect. We’re familiar with the coverage landscape in Alberta and will walk you through what applies to your situation honestly and clearly.
Our goal is to find you the right hearing aids at a cost that works — not to sell you the most expensive option. Bring your insurance details when you come in and we’ll do the research with you.
There are several funding sources that may apply to you — often in combination. Here’s a breakdown of the most common options in Alberta.
Many employer-sponsored and individual health plans include hearing aid benefits — typically $500–$2,000 per ear every 3–5 years. Bring your plan details and we’ll confirm your coverage before your appointment.
AISH recipients in Alberta may be eligible for hearing aid funding through the program. We work with AISH clients regularly and can guide you through the approval and documentation process.
Eligible Canadian veterans may receive full coverage for hearing aids and related services through VAC. We are experienced in supporting veterans through this process.
If your hearing loss is work-related and has been assessed through Workers’ Compensation, you may qualify for hearing aid funding through WCB Alberta.
We offer payment plan options that let you spread the cost of hearing aids over time — making quality technology more accessible without compromising on what suits your hearing best.
Hearing aids qualify as a medical expense for CRA purposes. Keeping your receipts may reduce your federal and provincial tax payable — we’ll provide the documentation you need at tax time.
We make the funding process as simple as possible — you focus on your hearing, we handle the paperwork.
Bring your insurance card, plan booklet, or policy number when you come in. If you’re not sure what’s covered, bring what you have and we’ll help you figure it out.
We contact your insurer directly to confirm your hearing aid benefit — the coverage amount, eligible brands, and any requirements like an audiologist prescription.
Wherever possible, we apply your insurance benefits directly so you only pay the balance — no waiting weeks for reimbursement.
If there’s a remaining balance after insurance, we’ll discuss a payment plan that spreads your out-of-pocket cost into manageable monthly amounts.
